Xavier loses as # 1 seed. Crazy tournament.

Wondered why refs didn't look at the air ball by Xavier with 5 seconds left that hit on didn't hit OOB line? They never check those.

Left half of bracket no 1 or 2 seeds left.

Funny thing is I likened Loyola to the 1994 Tulsa team. They like to get out and run and shoot and right now they're playing really loose and free. Very dangerous team for sure. Nevada has some players.

Custer played like crap and Loyola still won by double digits. Great team. Their defense is incredible --- all 5 guys know exactly where to be and who to guard.

Interesting interview with Loyola coach after the game. Rick Majerus was a mentor of his, & encouraged him to take the Loyola job.

Majerus took a WAC team (Utah) to the Final Four, eventually losing the championship game to Tubby’s Kentucky team.

Thanks. It is crazy how the tournament works. KU has had much better teams with much easier paths that couldn’t make it. I think Self has learned some lessons about not being quite as uptight in certain circumstances. There was a noticeable difference in his demeanor this year.

I'm waiting for Grayson Allen to try and trip the wrong person in the NBA, notably Steven Adams. Adams would probably go Ivan Drago on him and stare him down before stating "I must crush you"

He'll get drafted in the 2nd round. He's a good enough shooter and scrappy enough of a defender to come off the bench for someone. My wife actively roots against Duke no matter who they play simply because "he's a punk and someone needs to punch him".
