The good: the last 1.5 quarters showed what we can do. If we play like that moving forward we can have a decent season. It was nice to see some confidence.

The bad: Our receivers have to sack up. 3 dropped td passes in the end zone. Any of those could have changed this game in our favor.

The ugly: kickers... wtf. 3 missed fg is unacceptable and those 9 points could have won us the game.

Next week will tell us what to expect going forward. If we lose to Arkansas state at home, we likely won’t win more than a couple more games.

Good officiating. Zero homerism. Neutral announcing team despite it being the bevo network.

Not only did we miss three FGs, we elected not to attempt a chip shot and were stopped inside the 10 on fourth down. That's 12 points.

Agreed.
After the first 5 minutes the announcers were really good. No officiating complaints in retrospect.

Do you mean when they referred to Tulsa as the “Golden Eagles”? Perhaps they were given the secret name we knew nothing about.

Well if it’s any consolation, the espn app had all our highlights tagged as “Tulane” so there’s that.

One big problem last year was consistency- offense would be ok but defense stunk, next game defense would be better but offense stunk. Can we be consistent and bring it all together for whole games? Hopefully. Not really any sign of that so far but hopefully it’s growing pains.
