Temple game thread

This team is so frustrating. I caught the first 8 or so minutes and watched us fall behind turning the ball over, not moving on offense, not defending as a team. I turned it off to keep my BP lower. Checked the score, we were within 2. Flip back over...and it looks like a completely different team. A team that if it played more like this throughout the season, we're not staring a 20 loss season (inevitable at this point) and might be looking at closer to 20 wins. Rotations on defense have been good. Offensive movement has been good. Still too many unforced and unneeded TOs. But it's been pretty good for the most part.
I'm really happy we won, especially that the seniors get another game. But when you've played 32 games and lost 19, that's who you are, not 15 minutes of good ball in one game. As Noble used to say, even a blind pig can find a truffle sometimes, which makes no sense because they find them with smell but whatever. Lots of our guys showed a ton of fight and stepped up, that's what makes me the happiest.

I’m happy for the players. They came back from 14 points down to win it! They never gave up. I’m happy for Konkol to finally win a game in the AAC tournament.

No Liberty, I don’t want to give Konkol an extension, but I will always root for Tulsa to win every game and give the players & coaches credit when they do.

Pay the man give him an extension even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile. Epic win but is it enough to extend
You have said the same thing about three times , most of us want him gone after this season , but that doesn’t mean we can’t be happy for him and the players when they win , I can appreciate them not just rolling over like the football team did

Anyone who pulls for our team to lose is no true fan.

It still feels good even if Temple was the worst team in the tournament. They got their better seed with Mashburn before he got hurt. Without him they are last in AAC.
They beat N Texas, USF, and us without him. We beat them with him at home, at the end of a 3 game losing before he was out. I don't think they can be equivocated with Charlotte or worse without him.

I would forgive any loss by him this season if he ends up beating Memphis and costing them an NCAA spot , one can dream , right ?

Will be like a home game for N Texas as far as the fans go tomorrow night. We havn't upset 1-4 yet. Hopefully that happens tomorrow.

Surprisingly we were great on free throws. Comparatively that is
I hope Amadi sticks around but he needs to be in the gym shooting 500 FTs every day before next season. I mean his FT form is Shaq bad....which I may be willing to overlook if the other parts of his game were Shaq good

Harrison or O'neal?

Can't get to the dance as an at-large without a rim protector and great 3 point shooting it seems.
