I predict TU will win this game , I also predict they will lose as wellGo TU
I’m hoping we have learned our lesson about keeping bad coachesJustin Moore is here watching a lot of empty seats and thus far a mediocre job against a mediocre team.
You never know until you know but playing it safe has rarely worked out well.I’m hoping we have learned our lesson about keeping bad coaches
Guy's got a hectic job and 3 teenage kids, he needs some peace and quiet and alone time.Justin Moore is here watching a lot of empty seats and thus far a mediocre job against a mediocre team.
I don't know who can be successful at TU but I know for damn sure that Konkol can't.You never know until you know but playing it safe has rarely worked out well.
20 losses guaranteed. That was about the most Konkol way to close out a game , hopefully this was his last game coaching at the Reynolds Center
Not yet. If he wins the last game, wins the conf tourney, and wins the NCAA tournament, he does it with 19 losses.20 losses guaranteed.
I like it.Not yet. If he wins the last game, wins the conf tourney, and wins the NCAA tournament, he does it with 19 losses.
I can't believe it took them so long to figure that out.Winning anymore games will be a challenge. Teams are really keying on Odom…so they have to hit 3’s to have a puncher’s chance to beat the mediocre teams in this conference.
That’s what summers are for!Guy's got a hectic job and 3 teenage kids, he needs some peace and quiet and alone time.
With a better qualified coach and a little more money, I still have high hopes that we can do something in this league. We are about ready for a home run hire. We have had six disappointing hires in a row.Really there is no way Konkol can come back next season.
I had high hopes for him but it just didn't work out. I am not too optimistic about our trajectory with a new coach but at least there will be an illusion of hope for a year or two.

It would be nice if he resigned and settled for half his payout for the final three years.Really there is no way Konkol can come back next season.

Six? Manning wasn’t really a disappointment. He did what some of our best coaches have done. He won and then peaced to a more blueblood program.I have been beaten down.
I knew you would peace out on Manning when I typed out this post. Manning was a disappointment. He was just our best of 6 failures. He got out of here as soon as we were about to go to the AAC cuz he didn't think he could do it here, not in that conference. He was in a four way tie for 1st in a watered down CUSA, when he high tailed it out of here. He didn't win in the NCAA or the NIT. He pales in comparison to Nolan, Tubby, and Self. If he had stuck around another couple of years, and continued to do as well in the AAC then he wouldn't have been a failure. He never considered himself our coach. He barely wore anything that said Tulsa on it. He considered himself on loan from Kansas until he could get a better job. Then he failed to turn it around at Wake Forest. He should have seen that it would have been just as hard to turn it around at Wake Forest, if not harder than it would be to maintain the level he was here in the AAC. Never did get us a big man of any consequence. I consider Steve Robinson a failure, and he had a better record here.Six? Manning wasn’t really a disappointment. If we could have had 3 of him back to back, I would have been very happy.
Amen. All he and his staff talked about was Kansas, even in their social media profilesI knew you would peace out on Manning when I typed out this post. Manning was a disappointment. Manning was so meh. We dodged a bullet when he left. Unfortunately, we dodged right in front of a speeding bus.Six? Manning wasn’t really a disappointment. He did what some of our best coaches have done. He won and then peaced to a more blueblood program.

I would pay him to coach again at Tulsa instead of Konkol.Who is this Manning you speak of? Where does he coach?
Why? He'd be better, I bet along the lines of Frank, but not good enough. If we're not going to win at a high level, at least stick with the good guy, Konkol.I would pay him to coach again at Tulsa instead of Konkol.
Now, not a ton of money… but it would be very hard for him to be any worse.
