Yeah, but the dotted line we signed on didn't agree to that.(Budapest Memorandum) 🤨Seems like if you convince a friendly country to give up its nuke ambitions you have some responsibility to protect them from the reason they had nuke ambitions. Otherwise might as well let everyone have nukes
And not mind ignoring a large minority of their people. Those that think out loud or more likely silently, that they don't buy it. You can't speak too loudly when fearing thallium.Authoritarian regimes can control information and make the case or fabricate the case for war much more easily to their people.
The CCP sympathizers would like to launch you into the sun too. If everyone gets launched into the sun then there’s no one left besides the Canadians and a couple bhuddist monks who have taken vows of silence. Not sure what that means or how it’s relevant to me trolling WATU
Would that include Canadians fathered by Fidel Castro? Or, can we launch them into the sun?.. asking for a friend. The CCP sympathizers would like to launch you into the sun too. If everyone gets launched into the sun then there’s no one left besides the Canadians and a couple bhuddist monks who have taken vows of silence.
Wonder how they will try to justify that or if they will bother at all? Putin was able to try and excuse things by talking about NATO’s eastward expansion.
I assume we will hear “Taiwan has always been part of China. We do not consider it a sovereign nation” blah blah. Won’t matter in the end. If China believes there will be no U.S. response they will eventually move on Taiwan. Putin’s unopposed move into the Ukraine seems to have emboldened them.Wonder how they will try to justify that or if they will bother at all? Putin was able to try and excuse things by talking about NATO’s eastward expansion.
Taiwan’s status in relation to US support has been the same for a very long time with few changes.
What does it matter how they justify it? It's still going to be justification. They will still likely take back Taiwan. That would only matter if this was an argument decided by the merits the debate, on whether they wiil take back Taiwan.Wonder how they will try to justify that or if they will bother at all? Putin was able to try and excuse things by talking about NATO’s eastward expansion.

Unfortunately 'a very long time' for us (75 years) is not a 'very long time' for China. China's 'century of humiliation' at the hands of the West and Japan created much deeper wounds that the US Civil War did for us. Right or wrong, it's a situation that we will have to contend with in figuring out how to deal with China.Wonder how they will try to justify that or if they will bother at all? Putin was able to try and excuse things by talking about NATO’s eastward expansion.

Come on, man!
You hope they reallocate chinese espionage from this program to other general espionage programs. But, I doubt all the necessary missions get reallocated. This is a dangerous game of semantics.
So... how many HUMINT resources were compromised as a result of this?China’s lack of respect for Biden and the US is glaring. When we will stop being naive and understand who Putin and Xi are ?
Cue posts about "great humiliation"..." Trump did xxxxxx" and "George Bush"What a dilemma for WATU. China betrays Biden in favor of Putin.
