Southern Cal - SMU. Wisconsin - Temple

How are the likes of SMU and Temple managing to schedule home games like this?

Because they do the 2 for 1 ouside their state. We need to quit the scheduling of state schools and go outside with other teams. The problem is our AD is too lazy to negotiate and just wants the one and done deals. SMU is in Dallas so that helps with recruiting.

We are getting basketball return games. Oregon State. K State.

These are basketball. KState is a regional game against a pretty average opponent. USC and Wisconsin aren’t regional games...and their home and home. Let’s not kid ourselves, our series with K State is a 2 - 1 in their favor.

I agree with the 2-1 argument but in basketball k-State is definitely on an equivalent level with USC and Wisky. Football would be different.

My bad. Don’t consider Oregon State in the same category as Wisconsin, USC or K State. Should we be annoyed we had to do a 2– 1 to get a home game against K State ?

They both are in prime basketball recruiting areas.
