Ricky Tarrant allowed instant transfer to Memphis

The great shooter Ricky Tarrant has transferred again. The SG from Tulane who transferred to Alabama last year now has been granted an immediate transfer to Memphis due to Pastner's recruiting. This makes Memphis with their McDonald's All-American Freshman Lawson one of the picks to win it all in the AAC next season. Too bad Tulsa can't ever get an immediate transfer like OU or Memphis .

A number of transfers got immediate eligibility, just not at Tulsa. Some are saying Memphis could be pre-season top 25. Besides those 2, they have their top 4 scorers back and some juco guard help.

UConn will be much tougher with Cornell big man transfer Shonn Milller and frosh pg Jalen Adams (saw him play against Taplin in the NE private school championship-he's the real deal) and big man frosh Steven Enoch (Taplin teammate).

USF got a Gonzaga transfer along with other top recruits. UCF recruited well, especially landing a great juco wing.

Houston, Temple and Cincy all are bringing in some top recruits.

Bottom line is eventhough we bring everyone back, the league got tougher. We sure need a big.

The AAC just needs to get some more Top 50 wins in OOC play this year.

who did we piss off and how did a kid get immediate eligibility on his second transfer?

On TU recruiting, I'm losing faith. We need to get someone good signed... and eligible or we're looking at 5-7th place finish next year.

Doesn't he have to graduate from Alabama to qualify for a graduate degree that is not offered by Alabama?
