East Carolina tried its best to give the game away. Tulsa wouldn’t take it. Despite Dwon Odom’s clutch free throws that sent the game into overtime after colossal last second blunders by the Pirates, it wasn’t enough for Tulsa. The Golden Hurricane threw another game away in an 85-76 OT loss to East Carolina on Tuesday night in front of an announced crowd of 2,770.

Tulsa just doesn't make enough plays at the end of games. It has been that way most of the season. Konkol called out his team for poor 2nd half defense. Would be difficult to play worse defense than TU did in the 2nd half.
