32 violations in 3 years and obstruction of justice......... does this surprise anyone on here?
Looks like they "bleached a bunch of hard drives when asked to provide them" Was that a good move?So when is the suspension from postseason coming, and how many years?
Sounds like before Larry. Memphis may have to give back all their NCAA appearance money. But then again, they only made the NCAA's once out of 5 years. It may take the NCAA years to hammer out penalty and Penny will have "escaped" ala Brown, Calapari, by then. The Memphis players of 2029 will have to suffer.Very strange. When they brought on Larry Brown, I thought that was a signal they were gonna clean things up. /endsarcasm

I wonder if this makes them less attractive to the b12 for a while.
O. T. - Unless several other members (OSU, ISU and KU) leave. I think those schools are doing everything in their power to find life boats - KU and ISU in B10 and OSU in PAC or SEC. That is why if the AAC schools would have stayed they would have been better off in the long run. Purely speculation on my part but if Aresco could have pulled off what he tried to do I think all the schools (remaining B12 and AAC) would have made as much money without playing fees to enter or exit. They’re never going to be invited to the B12.
If you want to run a “clean program” you absolutely do not hire Mr. Larry Brown. Although he didVery strange. When they brought on Larry Brown, I thought that was a signal they were gonna clean things up. /endsarcasm
Looks like Penny has been giving lessons to Will Smith on how to handle things when you get mad

The NCAA doesn't have to prove guilt beyond a doubt like in a criminal case. They can use that act as an admission of guilt for their purposes.Looks like they "bleached a bunch of hard drives when asked to provide them" Was that a good move?
Yet here is Kansas in the Final 4 . Very hard to take down one of the elite blue bloods .The NCAA doesn't have to prove guilt beyond a doubt like in a criminal case. They can use that act as an admission of guilt for their purposes.
Yeah, OK State gets a postseason ban but Arizona and Kansas not getting even a slap on the wrist is puzzling.Yet here is Kansas in the Final 4 . Very hard to take down one of the elite blue bloods .
No, BUT Boynton may have played his rotations a little differently if they did and perhaps that might have made a difference. Will never know. I always felt Tubby should have played Cordell Love, JR Rollo, etc. more during the 1992-1993 season when we were on probation to get those guys needed experience for when games counted again for TUWas OSU getting a bid if not on probation. I think not.
Though certainly outside the realm of possibilities with Penny....more like lessons to Juwan Howard.
Slap on the wrist and a finding Penny did not violate NCAA rules….shocking.
