Great second half by Curtis! Birt also stepped up in 2nd half. Not a pretty win, but a very good 10 point road win!

The press worked whenever we employed it. It really disrupted OSU's flow and created some turnovers. We have the depth to really force that issue too
It helps when we start rolling before the last 4 minutes of the second half!!!

I do wonder what the game would have been like if they had Shine & Forte. Those two guys really beat us up last year along with a couple others.

87% from the FT line tonight. 30% from 3. Curtis and Birt both effective on both ends. Wright was effective for the little time he was in there. Someone needs to stress to him how much of a key he is to the team's success. Ray was quietly effective as well and did a lot of things that don't show up in the start line

I thought our last win was in the Reynolds center?
It was. The commentator is just stupid. I can specifically remember how dejected the OSU team looked when everyone had their keys out yelling 'start the bus'

What the hell happened to OSU basketball??? I think that was Tulsa's last sell out. OSU can't even get 5k people there and they have 20k students.

College basketball attendance is bad across the state. Blame the Thunder, casinos, a declining middle class, and asshats.

I wonder if, when KD packs his stuff and moves to LA next season, if our attendance will tick up a bit.

There's absolutely no excitement for OSU basketball. Fans got spoiled with two Final Fours in a ten year span and won't come out to watch borderline NCAA tourney ball plus as been mentioned there's the Thunder, TV, etc.. Football attendance has held up but that place is deserted for hoops.

Junkie, I think this is a retroactive W for Vegas. I remember you telling me, as we were lining up to fly back on SW, at least we didn't end up like Oregon State. That was so nice since I was so down after the non-competitive performance vs. OSU.
Let's all celebrate our first win vs. the Big XII state schools since when? the win at home vs. OSU during the Wojick era, I think.

Absolutely! Although it would have been pretty nice to win that tourney. :)

Wins against OSU and Wichita State sound pretty good in theory. Hope we can keep rolling!

KD is not going to LA next season. If he decides to sign elsewhere, the most likely destination is Washington. If he re-signs with OKC I expect he'll end his career here.

Lawpoke, what is the disdain for Ford other than the fact that he doesn't seem to be a very good in game coach? He has gotten some stellar recruits in his time and has had some very good teams. Is OSU really that afraid of his buyout that they won't even discuss replacing him?

BTW, this year's team while not completely devoid of talent, has no real guy for anyone to look at and say "that's who they're going to". I know Forte is out but I wonder how effective he will be as the #1 option versus the #3 or #4 option he has been when Nash, Smart, and Brown were around. They've got some size in the middle but they didn't seem terribly effective on the post unless they were grabbing offensive rebounds. Funny thing is when other teams jack 3's I usually cringe a little, but after I saw the first 10 go up last night I was really hoping OSU would settle for shooting the 3.
