In the words of our esteemed alumnus Ms. McClanahan:No need to play the them. Nothing to gain.
Man, ORU’s non-conference schedule is brutal. They will either be really battled tested or totally torn up or both.
Way to schedule the game when students aren’t around. I don’t understand these things some times. We’re always going to play them so get over it.
3 days before Christmas with holiday functions, shopping, no students, and based on the 2,500-ish crowd at Mabee two years ago for this game, equals a crowd counted in the hundreds.
I forgot the game was at ORU this year. I don’t even remember it last year. Yeah I
don’t believe either team will have a great record and even if they did, it’s not going
to generate a ton of interest.
Looks like we kept the ORU game: 12/22.
As with all body bag games during the Haith tenure we have just as likely a chance to be carried out in that bag. Let's hope things truly have changed.Maybe a little harsh, as I believe, assuming that Haith doesn't play all of the walk-ons
plus the water boy the first three or four games looking for Ambrosia (or something),
and pulling anyone who hits two or three in a row, or has played a full five minutes,
TU has a chance to get off to a good start for the season.....
As far as this game, you are probably right.....ORU will be hard pressed to be a good
JUCO team, and this shouldn't be much of a game.....However, with Haith at the Helm
early in the season, you would swear the earth is square........After :Lamar, he almost
had me convinced.......
I think he always saw the light, but now can Voice it. We haven't got him off on Memphis lately though... :boxing::smiley:
We need some manufactured fireworks :bomb:for the dead :dig:season.
