Even playing man, generally all teams play "help" defense. Not sure exactly what you mean. If teams didn't play any help defense, there'd be layup after layup. I haven't seen a lot of the threes coming from us helping inside, ala doubling the post/swiping at all. It's been mostly mental lapses or simply lazy closeouts. The corner threes have seemed to happen most often when we're in zone. When playing zone, teams typically designate who's going to cover the corner, whether it be the guards on the wing or the post. Vs. Cincy, at least twice our guards on the wing were late to contest when in zone. On one of the other open corner threes, Etou ran out to contest. So I'm not sure who Haith wants covering the corner in his zone defenses, but we clearly have not learned how to play help and recover defense. Attribute this to coaching, inexperience, or effort?
