Open the wallets.

This coach could turn TU into a BCS killer... I see coach M winning the recruiting battle against the likes of OU,OSU & Arkansas. Our offense is fun and faster than Malz offense…. In 2 year’s time TU could be selling out skelly, adding on to its stadium and not to mention the indoor practice facility.

Best game we have played in years. I especially liked the no give up in the 4th qtr. We lost a potential td on a fantom o pass interference call. We would have closed to only 7 pts behind. They scored to make it 21, but the we came back to close it to 14.

Also open the wallets to make him STAY! and not go to Texas in a couple years!

I was in the interview room when Josh Pastner said 'Tulsa needs to extend Danny Manning NOW, because in a couple of years he'll walk' after we lost to Memphis in the conference tournament in 2012

Turns out, it was the most inciteful thing he's ever said. Let's not let that let that happen again!

That is what I'm saying, Open the wallets and pay the guy!!! lets get some crap built.... This coach needs to know we will build this place into a football empire around him. I honestly don't see him turning down the likes of Texas or even Texas Tech, but... I think if the University Of Tulsa FOR ONCE!!! would strike while this iron is red hot, we could become THE BEST non bcs university to attend. We may even find ourselves getting the next invite to a BCS league... We all know there will be another shake up.

We beat Notre Dame and came home to 15,000 fans the next saturday. Its gonna take more than just throwing money at it.
If we pay our coach 2.5+ mil/year to stay...he can build this into a BCS killer like BSU/TCU of the past.

Agree 100%.
I'm enjoying this love fest, but we've not yet played an AAC game. As pumped as I feel, we're only 25% thru the season. Let's keep on improving and winning. Let's enjoy ourselves and get all our friends and neighbors to meet us at Chapman Stadium!

I dont disagree. Id love to see us building a nice little dynasty here in Tulsa, but its alot harder than just dumping money into a coaches salary.

We need people working at the University that are just as big of fans as us and aren't watching OU/OSU or SEC games in their suites while we're on the field playing.

I agree with all but dvctulsa is right lets play some conference games against Temple and SMU before we throw the checkbook at him. Because of how this is progressing and I actually believed at halftime that we could beat OU, I am really looking forward to the Ohio State game next year in the shoe.

We play OSU next year? oh my.

I haven't been this excited about TU football since the Landrum leap made us bowl eligible for the first time since 1991. I never thought I would say that about a loss but we played four fill quarters and never backed off. If we had gotten into our stride just a little earlier it would have been a one score game. Amazing. The offense clicked, the D held when it needed to hold. I can't wait for the rest of the season.

25% at 2-1 is 8-4...
Just sayin ;)

After being dogs at NMU and winning big then being 30.5 dogs at OU and keeping it to 14, I feel pretty good about bowling this season with at least 7 wins after thinking a 6-6 season would be great but likely not be enough for a bowl.
