Are the two #1 seeds going down faster than the Titanic!?!?!

Indiana leads the series 2-0.
Nugget of Shinola leads the series 1-0.

If that's not a F2, what is?
I believe that is called NBA jobbing the game.

The conspiracy theorist in me says the league does not want a small TV market team to get to the Finals. I have noticed on even ESPN or NBA TV, the Thunder do not receive the attention as other teams, even though they were the best team in the league this season, maybe one of the top seasons in league history, with certainly the best defense that has been seen maybe ever.

The road teams have won every game of the conference semifinals so far. I like the Thunder's team but they have no one who can go toe to toe with Jokic. Y'all thought Dirk Nowitzki was a 7'1 unicorn, Jokic is a 7'2 unicorn with a rainbow mane and can fly. I'm not sure I've ever seen a more dynamic player in the history of the NBA. I really don't know what to think in that series.

The Celtics will beat the Knicks, probably in 6 games.

Indiana scares the hell out of me as a Celtics fan. They are super dynamic and a bad overall matchup for the Celtics and have been for the last 2-3 seasons.

The Wolves and Warriors series is crazy already. I don't expect either one of them to content against Denver or OKC.

The Celtics play miserable basketball. Literally they jack up threes and don't change the gameplan. Whoever comes out of the west is beating them.

Sadly this is true. They are capable of playing great defense and shutting teams down but they frequently are so worried about seeing how many 3s they can take. I mean, they missed 45 of them yesterday...MISSED 45. Tatum, White, and Brown can pretty much get to the rim at will so I don't know why they don't and play the inside out game. And they have a pattern of getting up big and then letting teams back in at the start of the 2nd half. It's really frustrating.

FWIW, Denver is 6th of the 8 remaining teams in TV market size. I think a lot of people don't "trust" OKC yet bc the team is so young and players don't have a lot of history. BTW, is the Clippers' SGA trade one of the worst ever?

Paul George is the gift that keeps on giving. I can just hear Presti saying 4 first round picks plus that skinny kid down on the end of your bench and we've got a deal.
5!! And two swaps. They get the Clippers' 1st next year. A couple injuries to the notoriously fragile George and Leonard and you could squint and see OKC coming off a championship next year and landing a lottery pick.

I am a Celtics fan but Tatum's shooting is just pitiful at crucial times and bad judgment.

Mr. Kendall here is another take ....Chet Holmgren shouldn't be missing two free throws with
the game on the line . The splendid splinter only makes 30 million dollars a year doing what
a good high school player does...makes his free throws . The joker made fools out of Chet
and Hartenstein .

Celtics keep missing from 3 and really have nothing else.

Tatum just cost them another game. They should get some great young players and draft choices and let him go.

Correction , Chet makes 18 million
H-Stein makes 30

A different result tonight. It's a butt kicking. Thunder up 47.
Go Thunder.

I have never enjoyed watching an NBA team play until this thunder team. When their defense is clicking, it’s pretty magic.

The Celtics have guys who can get to the rim and score inside. It seems like arrogance and stubbornness, they want to win and they want to do it on their terms and their style. Are they willing to adjust if their terms and style aren't getting it done? So far, no. But maybe. Or maybe they're right and the 3s start falling and it doesn't matter. It's certainly easy to see them taking 4 of 5 from the Knicks if they get their stuff together.

Let's go Nuggets!!!!

So I am watching the replay of the Thunder game from yesterday.. The play-by-play guy just had two of the most cringeworthy comments in one possession I think I have ever heard.

SGA dribbling around in the back court: Shai is playing with his food.

A Denver player playing tough defense: He is in his chest like bronchitis.

Sweet sassy molassey that was bad

As is my trait, I turned off the game in the fourth quarter when the Thunder were not catching up. Jokic was eating them alive, so I just knew there was no hope.

So you're welcome for the comeback, OKC.

And Jokic is still a little b!tch.

It's not like a fan flying down from Minn. is going to sway the outcome.

That's completely not the point. The game exists for the fans. Fans from both teams should have a reasonable opportunity to attend. Attending playoff games is a reward for fans who have followed the team, that should be available to both sides.

BTW, if the Thunder don't think having the other team's fans is a benefit to the other team, then why do they try to limit them? The "prevents scalping" excuse is clearly ridiculous.

It's the way you build a loyal fanbase. Unlike the Clippers or the Nets who (at least for a long time) were an opportunity for other team's fans to watch their team on the cheap in LA / NYC area.

How many Utah fans do you think watched Jordan and Pippen kick Stockton and Malone's ass in the United Center? They still fill up that place every single season despite the team being mediocre and management blowing goats.

So the Pacers/ Knicks game last night was wild. Pacers had been down by 10-14 the whole game, had a furious comeback with a wild shot to tie at end of regulation. Won in OT. I have not had so much fun watching a basketball game in a long time. And it is NBA....who knew.....

Bro, I flipped over and the Knicks were up 9 with under a minute left and flipped over the hockey game where the Stars were down 3-1 late in the 2nd. Turned that off and found a US Open Cup game where St. Louis was up 2-1 with 5 minutes left. In all those cases, the teams trailing went on to win in near impossible win situations. I flipped over to a Harry Potter movie because it was on and I don't really have to pay attention to them anymore.

I think someone said the Pacers were +900 odds with 5 minutes left to go. Can you imagine putting a bet on them to win right there? $100 bet and I could have paid for another year of my son's tuition
