Is OSU going to be our toughest nonconference game. I'd almost lay money on it.
The South Carolina state game should go between Jackson state and oral RobertsWe now have a date for the ORU game, so half the non-conference schedule is settled.

Mid to late September. I expect we might post a full schedule at that time.UAB has put out their non conference schedule but the dates for the conference games haven’t been set so I am sure that is across the board. So hopefully they will be out in a week or two with everyone

It’s gonna be closeHopefully we get a full schedule before we play our first game. Lol
If that’s the Weatherford school then that’s my alma mater. It was called Southwestern State College when I went there and was NAIA.December 29th - Southwest OSU (DII)
Didn’t we lose to them the last time we played themDecember 29th - Southwest OSU (DII)
Haith lost to SEOSU, not SWOSUDidn’t we lose to them the last time we played them
In 7 years at LaTech, Konkol had a top 200 non-conference SOS once and played 14 non-D1 games. Challenging schedules is not something I would expect to see from him.
Calm down. You are gaining ground on Aston. 😀Well the womens non conference schedule is out. How about the men’s sometime this century
Women's team hosting Florida in December. That's fun.Well the womens non conference schedule is out. How about the men’s sometime this century
So I see you chose violence this morning. LolCalm down. You are gaining ground on Aston. 😀
It is the Weatherford team.If that’s the Weatherford school then that’s my alma mater. It was called Southwestern State College when I went there and was NAIA.
Which I have never understood. Weatherford is west, not southwest. Lawton is southwest. It is the Weatherford team.
I think the latest it's ever come out is the 26th. But they have been putting it out like a week later every time out. So that should put it coming out between now and Oct 2nd or 3rd. Sometime in the next 2 weeks.Did somebody kidnap our basketball season scheduler person? Is that the reason we're still waiting?
I graduated from there 50 years ago. We went by the campus a few years ago while driving to Tulsa and very little had changed other than adding a few buildings on the north side. Go Bulldogs! Except when they play Tulsa of course.Which I have never understood. Weatherford is west, not southwest. Lawton is southwest.
I like this schedule. (7-4) or (6-5) I had rather predict low and outperform. Has the chance to provide some confidence in a brand new young team. The schedule last year doomed the team from the start. They never recovered. We host New Mexico State on Friday, December 22nd. That should just about do it.

I was kind of hoping for one quality team, a little better than OSU or Miss St, late in our non con schedule. But is a good schedule for us as a young and inexperienced team, regardless.I like this schedule. Has the chance to provide some confidence in a brand new young team. I think that is why the power team is a scrimmage which won’t count against us but we learn a lot.I was kind of hoping for one quality team, a little better than OSU or Miss St, late in our non con schedule. But is a good schedule for us as a young and inexperienced team, regardless.
We have six slots they could add a 30th game. 11/3, 11/12 or 13, before or after SC St, 11/28 or 29, 12/13, & 12/26-30.I’m hoping for at least one more. We need at least a 30 game schedule. I’m also hoping we go unbeaten with that OOC schedule. Two of those games (SWOSU and SC State) won’t be considered when doing tournament rankings because they’re not D1. I know, its way too early to be thinking tourney but I like to dream.
Not that it makes our schedule much stronger, but SC State is D1, very low D1, but still D1.I’m hoping for at least one more. We need at least a 30 game schedule. SC State is D1. I believe they play in the HBCU conference the MEAC. Hopefully we can be 6 or 7 and 0 going into the meat of the non-con schedule against teams that have a chance of being in the NCAA tournament. OSU, Missouri St, New Mexico St will all likely contend for NCAA spots. I don't know about Loyola. They've not been what they were under Porter Moser but aren't they moving to a higher tier conference (A10 maybe) which might boost their recruiting some. If we struggle in any of the first 5 games, we should worry.I’m hoping for at least one more. We need at least a 30 game schedule. I’m also hoping we go unbeaten with that OOC schedule. I see 6 wins in this schedule. I would love to see more but I don’t have any expectations after last season.I like this schedule. (7-4) or (6-5) I had rather predict low and outperform. I'm taking it a game at a time. I think the talent level has been raised bigtime, but it'll be interesting to see how it meshes together...such is life in the transfer portal era.I see 6 wins in this schedule. I would love to see more but I don’t have any expectations after last season.
Did you look at any of these teams records last year? All it takes is a minute to check them at ESPN. It's not an absolute predictor of next year, but it has a strong bearing.
