HOUSTON (OU SOUTH WITH COACH SAMSON) WILL BEAT TULSA AT COOG HIGH BY 1 TONIGHT.
HOPE MY STREAK ENDS AND TU WINS.
HOPE MY STREAK ENDS AND TU WINS.
Hold on, Calvin just texted me. Says Tulsa by 8.
Calling the OSU game a 'neutral court' is a bit disingenuous... It was 2,000 miles away from Tulsa, in OSU's back yard.Cincy is the only true road loss. The losses to Oregon State and South Carolina were neutral courts. Cincy is a bad matchup for us...we've said this for 2 years. USC is in the same mold as Cincinnati (IMO) and a bad match-up for us.
That said...we match up well against Houston and IMO Tulsa has the better overall players and better quality depth. Look for Birt to shoot lights out as he seems to thrive away from the Reynold's Center. Houston's guards cannot stay with Shaq and Juice and if they start getting into the lane, look for them to dish to Dre, Swannegan, and Smith for easy baskets. I think all of the guards realized against UCF that if you have aggressive shot blockers, it will open up easy passes and shots . While Houston's front court is not as big or intimidating as UCFs, Chicken and Ngaki are pretty good shot blockers coming from the weak side. That should leave their guy open. Shaq has been lighting up the assist column the last few games too.
Prediction: TU 76 Houston 63
Chicken and Ngaki are pretty good
I wouldn't know, I haven't tried it. But I hear it's a tasty dish!
On a freaking rollI wouldn't know, I haven't tried it. But I hear it's a tasty dish!
I know but the game is technically a neutral court game for records purposes.Calling the OSU game a 'neutral court' is a bit disingenuous... It was 2,000 miles away from Tulsa, in OSU's back yard.
BINGO...the lack of drive from this team at times is disturbingThe game will be won or lost on the boards and on the perimeters. We can't let them effort us, and we can't let them have any space outside.
