BRISBANE Bullets young gun Will Magnay had a special start to his time with the NBL club and now he is looking to take what he has learnt so far and put it into action on the court.
After making the decision to switch from college basketball to sign with the Bullets, Magnay stepped right into the fire - playing against the likes of NBA star big man Tyson Chandler and Alex Len when Brisbane took on the Phoenix Suns in October.
But his start in the NBL hasn't been all that smooth after being diagnosed with glandular fever and having to spend most of the season to date on the sidelines watching from the bench.
