This game was still a Beauty contest between the "haves" of college football... Until all FBS schools have a shot at this title, it's still mythical..

However, I keep wondering how Alabama gets all those great players when their uniforms never change. Geez they were wearing that garb in the sixties.

I agree on the uniforms. Win. Win, and you can play in any uniform.

Whether you agree, it was a national championship. Look at basketball. Soon they will want it to be 8 teams, maybe 16. Drop the 5-7 teams and have every conference champion. 12 would get you there. Have a play in bowl for the MAC, Sunbelt, C-USA, etc. It will happen. Money will make it happen.

Clemson had won 16 in a row. Alabama beat them. Hard to believe Alabama isn't the best. We don't knock the World Series because the Cubs never go.

This had nothing to do with NCAA... merely a made for tv spectacle.. Not a national championship until the NCAA sanctions it... Merely a P5 championship...

At least Cubs get a chance to play for it... If Houston had gone undefeated would they have been in final four?
