One of my Co-Workers is a Sigma Nu From OSU and he was telling me about their Football Intramurals last night.
Seems one of his Frat Brothers was looking for some Ringers for their game, and he tweeted on Durants page inviting him to come play with them.
When Durant tweeted back he'd play, the guy was suprised, and then asked "Can you catch?" To which Durant replied, "A little". So he gave him the specifics, and went on, never really expecting that he'd really show up.
Well at 10:06 last night Durant Not only shows up, but brings three of his NBA buddies out to play. Durant ended up with 4 TD's and 3 INT's.
The Sigma's won their fouth stright intramural title, but the Intramural governing body ruled their game a forfiet because they used non-fraternity players.
Regardless, it was pretty popular stuff last night on the interwebs.
Pretty cool of the Local NBA stars to come out to play with the college students. pretty great way to build community relations.
