As many of you have probably noticed, I've backed off of Shaq and damn near retracted every bad thing I ever said about him (with the exception of his piss poor 3pt shooting)... But I'd like to hear what those of you who claimed he was the "best player on the team" have to say now. Because he is definitely NOT our best player. Not trying to knock him, but Woodard is so blatantly the best player on our team... HELL, HE IS THE BEST 2 IN OUR CONFERENCE!

Which brings me to the whole point of this post; WHY DOES JUICE THINK IT IS OK TO SIT BACK AND NOT SCORE?! Woodard gets so passive sometimes and it is the exact opposite of how he plays when he is playing well... It's almost like he loses confidence! I mean, when he has the hot hand (aka has made some shots) he lets em fly from 25ft without hesitation, but when he misses his first few shots, it's like he completely disappears from the game! Someone needs to tell him that this is unacceptable! HE MUST CONTINUE TO ATTACK/SHOOT!

And, again, this is not aimed at Shaq. He obviously has not been 100% since the ankle injury. BUT, it's not just the injury - it's also the fact that other teams have figured out not only how to defend his game, but also that defending his game properly comes with the byproduct of forcing his teammates to hit shots (specifically 3s)!

All I can say is, THANK THE LORD for Rashad Smith and Rashad Ray...

But this has to change... Woodard has to be more aggressive and attack more. Good players let the game come to them, great players force their game to come to them by not slowing down/getting hesitant when they miss their first 3-4 shots. THEY KEEP SHOOTING!
