Good for him, was true to his desire to be close to home. My eyes would have rolled if he ended up at Washington or KState or somewhere not in Cali, but with this move he will be closer to home- I get it.

Which is completely understandable for a college freshman. Underscores the fact that we need to do a better job of landing local players.

Definitely a case that makes sense. Where he’s grown up and traveled hold little comparison to the Midwest. He’ll, my boys went to Oklahoma City University and It kills me to say it Arkansas and they were homesick (too damn much in my opinion). Being in the Tulsa area it was great to be able to drive less than two hours each way and support them as a parent. His expressed desire to have a closer knit family and doing what it takes to make that happen gets an “I’m all for it”. I lost both parents at an early age (17 & 24) and assure you the times they were there to support me I remember. From either side of the fence the moments we share in are a blessing because as we all know we aren’t guaranteed tomorrow.

Sorry for the dumb question, assuming you're talking about KES? I guess I always assumed he was more of a SG type.

I think we recruited him as a point guard and I think that’s what he will play. I guess we’ll see if we land another one all of a sudden.
