Is shea seals on Tulsas staff this year or was

He probably doesn’t miss road recruiting.

I wasn't aware Shea did much recruiting, as we didn't sign many hometown kids.

At least he left us with Pritchard in the end, a parting gift. Shea recruited local recruits, just not successfully.

He was working for the most bland and boring coach which didn’t help matters.

I think Shea recruited the 4 star kid that asked for his release. But I don’t think that player would ever have enrolled here. It will be interesting to watch him. I forgot where he went.

He recruited plenty of local kids and would have had much more success if the closer of the deal would have been worth a damn and had any interest in having local kids on the roster.

A competitor to Jostens, which is a name you probably know.

It's not a very prestigious job. Surprised he didn't go back to coaching high school ball.
It could be lucrative if you can get some big accounts: Awards, etc.... QuikTrip, Nordam, etc.

Yes, a competitor to Jostens. While not prestigious, those reps that I met through the years seemed to live very, very well. I can just about guarantee that his salary before commissions would be much better than if he went back to coaching HS BB.

He's still around. I have actually run into him a few times in the South Tulsa/BA area at the Y (he and his wife were doing a 5:30am cross training class) and at a couple of Union HS events (FB games?) I would assume they are living in or close to the Union district now just because of the location and seemingly crazy frequency of seeing him.

Lucrative more often than not, wins out over prestige.
