Why not? Soccer gets to play intercollegiate scrimmages in the Spring (heck they even get to play vs pro and semi pro teams). Basketball can now play same division exhibition games...so what's the downside with this for college football. Let's pretend we don't care about the athletes missing class because neither the coaches nor NCAA really care about it.

If we did who would TU schedule against? Missouri State if they're not on the schedule. KU or KState would be a nice touch occasionally.

The Dallas Cowboys! I like our chances 😉

I’ve always thought it would be cool to scrimmage an actual team. Even against a D2 school or FCS that’s regional. I’m sure there are rules against it or something and no one wants tape out there for opponents to get their hands on, but football starved fans would love a spring tailgate with a fun scrimmage played like an actual game.

Seems in today's NCAA there are rules against everything, but enforcement of none of them... Sure would be interesting if the Buffs and Orange rolled the dice to see what the NCAA's response would be.

Schedule Harding. Get a jump on planning on defending Army/Navy. 🤣

It's a good idea. Maybe do a home and away game.

But my players might get stolen!!!!!!!! GTFOH
I’m wondering if we will ever get to a point to where teams will start trading players during the season , like renting players out… wouldn’t think so but never thought it would be like it is today either
