I saw a video circulating around Facebook of a homecoming parade for the University of Tulsa, in packed streets of downtown. Appeared to be sometime in the late 1950s.

How did we get so far from this? I'm way too young to know a lot of the historical events, but it sure seems like there was a point in time where we had the recipe to be something special.

(Im not naive to think it's just a Tulsa problem, im sure there are 100+ schools that could claim the same thing)
