Only 6% know it because actual numbers show the deficit as a percentage of GDP for 2013 between 4.5% and 6% with the anticipated deficit for 2014 in the same range. The other 94% may have done a bit of research.

I guess MSNBC really is where liberals go to watch their careers die.

Storyline....run up record deficits and then claim success in five years when they are still larger than any of your predeccessors and the highest per GDP in the last 20 years. Don't mention that the national debt has increased over $5T during your first four years and will increase almost $8T over your Presidency. A figure which is almost as much as was accumulated by all your predeccessors combined.

I do admit he took over in rough economic times. However, he has conveniently forgotten the statements regarding our debt he made as a senator and Presidential candidate.
