I think TU comes out strong the first 10 minutes, but...

1. A packed in zone won't work for too long against these guys.

2. Our man defense is...well...you know.

The many Wheat Shocker fans in attendance will be happy.

Hoping Etou plays well.

It will be a sellout. Only a few hundred tickets left... unfortunately, I think it’ll be 60-40 WSU fans. I’m still excited for the game (because I love TU hoops), but my expectations are pretty low at this point. Hope I’m wrong.

The arena will most likely look like Chapman when we play OU...more Red than Blue, only this time it will be Shocker Gold v. Hurricane Blue. Oh well this rivalry goes back to the old Valley days and TU fans love to hate those dreaded Wheatshockers!!!!

The majority of Wichita fans I've met have been pretty cool. I doubt I'll get too upset if I'm surrounded by Shockers. Even if we're getting destroyed. That being said, I think the game will be closer than expected.

The one time I saw Shocker fans get really wound up was when Ricky Ross ended up playing for us. He wasn't very popular in the land of wheat.

Upsides: 1. the athletic department will get some good still photos of our players in action for use on social media. All the gold wearing fans in the background will appear to be Golden Hurricane fans. 2. I can get my "Xavier McDaniel Cannot Read This" sign out of storage. Other than that, I dont really have any upsides. I still believe though.

12-3 TU at first break followed by a 30-2 run by the shockers. Then just coast to a 30+ W for the shockers.. sigh..

Kansas St had the ball for a final possession at KU to win. They ran the worst play I’ve ever seen and missed. KU escaped with a 1 point lead.

Doesn’t really have much to do with TU vs WSU but I didn’t want to make a new thread just to post this.

TU loses today by 12, sadly.

Unfortunately I think everyone is on the same page here... and that’s sad. I hope better days are ahead for TU hoops.

Yeah. Mrs. LEC would put a mortgage payment on that -11.5 because I would advise her to do so. Luckily, she just likes her penny slots at River Spirit and doesn't listen to me.

If it is only 12, moral victory

I think there might have been close to 6,000+ WSU fans a the game tonight. All-in-all a great game and a tough 3 point loss.

Were you there at the end? By far the loudest roars of the night were from TU fans. The arena holds 8355. I’d estimate 4,800-5,000 TU, 3500 WSU. Either way a great road turnout for WSU. They are what we used to be. By the way a great student turnout for TU.

Yep it was 60-40 TU fans, they old blue hairs just weren't loud until the end. Way to finish though. The kids should have been giving them a hard time towards the end, for spite.
