Tulsa Hosts another bottom feeder of the conference in East Carolina. This is a chance for Tulsa to get another conference win at home. ECU has not traveled well lately so this could be a good thing for us.

Saturday there will be a double header with the Women playing Temple at 1 and the men playing Cincinnati at 7. After Saturday, the men play 4 straight road games and then finish with Wichita State and UCF at home. Be glad February is a short month.

No “And 1” today. I have started exercising and it is kicking my tail and I have no energy to run my brain. At some point my fat self will get back into some semblance of “in Shape” and it will be second nature again.

I will say I am kinda bummed right now. I think I am only doing this now on principle alone. Smh We have Eight Q4 games! I do not think we have had that many in Q4 EVER!

Today we have Houston visiting SMU and Tulane headed to beat Memphis on the road. Lol. I am looking forward to that.

I watched the Loyola Project on ESPN and it was really good. If you didn’t get to see it then you missed out. This was about the Loyola Chicago team that won the National Championship against Cincinnati in 1963. When they started 4 black players before the Texas Western Miners started all 5 against Kentucky. I really enjoy a good story.

We're 5-3 in Q4 games, noodle on that. But considering that 5 of our 7 wins are in Q4, it's good that we loaded up on those games! We had a bad Q4 loss at home and our net went down by 4. That's what you call "rock bottom".

As we left the arena last night I told my pal that if I were a player on the TU team, I would be counting the days until the season was over. Would also want to take a few months off to reevaluate whether the sport was worth this kind of misery.

Just reflecting on the couple of bad soccer teams I played on. Took all the fun out of the game.
