ITS GAME DAY!!!!!!!!!!!! Today is the first of the shuffled UCF games. This game will be on ESPN 2!!!!!

We have a few postponements.

TCU at Baylor has been postponed again as the Bears went on Pause due to COVID yesterday.
Texas A&M at Arkansas has been postponed to to positive Covid tests and contact tracing within the Aggies program.
Houston Baptist at Northwestern State ha been postponed until February 22 due to positives and contact tracing on Houston Baptist.
South Florida at SMU has been rescheduled to February 20th. There has not been an announcement that I have seen regarding them rescheduling the TU game.

We have a very interesting line up today, to say the absolute least.

ORU tries to avenge the 7 point lost to North Dakota State yesterday by playing them again. lol
UT Arlington tries to go on a 2 game winning streak when they face ULM who they beat yesterday.
East Carolina is at Memphis today and I believe that will be a really good game to watch on ESPN this afternoon.
South Carolina host Mississippi State. Pulling for the Gamecocks in this one.

Houston hosts that powerhouse, Our Lady Peace. Wait that is a band. Sisters of the Poor, wait that is a Nolan tagline. No in fact they are going into a death match with the 1-2, and NAIA's own OUR LADY OF THE LAKE!!!! This game will be over after the first bucket.

The Headliner today is Tulsa taking on UCF in a game that was postponed earlier in the season.

Houston, Memphis, and SMU look poised to get bids barring a bad loss although for Houston it doesn't matter. I noticed ECU got a nice bounce from their win and Houston fell a whole spot since both played pretty well and it was on the road.

We have the quad record but not the ranking to make it a real threat for us as an at large.
Wichita could still get it done with the schedule they have left and how well their OOC losses have done.

I am going to offer a different perspective on this. Houston is a lock. No way around that. Smoo and Memphis have a shot if they win out. What’s holding them back is their quad record. Tulsa has the second best quad rating in the conference. The loss to the Smoo at home really didn’t hit that hard. We take another loss and we are done. If we don’t then that would mean we split with the Smoo. When if they compare us for an at large with those teams being Memphis and the Smoo I believe we get in over them because of the quad record.

This perspective includes us getting to the conference finals and losing to Houston

I pretty much agree. SMU and Memphis just need to win, Memphis gettin one of the Houston games would pretty much do it. SMU needs wins as does WSU.

We may not have enough games left but we can't lose at home for sure and could really use a win at Smooo
