Happy Leap day!! Tonite is Senior Night. This will be Martins's and Lawson's last home game ever in the regular season. If you are in Tulsa or the commuting area I urge you to attend to celebrate what these guys have done for the team and the accomplishments they have made.

This is an exciting weekend. So many things could happen this weekend. A Tulsa win tonite and we clinch a bye in the AAC Tourney. A Tulsa win tonite and an SMU win tomorrow and we can finish no worse than third. A win tonite, WSU win tomorrow and a Tulsa win @ Temple and we finish no worse than third.

Houston and Cincinnati play tomorrow and one has to lose so that means we win tonight and we are in still tied for first but we would have the number 2 seed in the tournament as long as we don't lose another game. Its a very exciting weekend to be a TU fan!!!!!

We have some good games on the slate for today including a rematch of Kansas vs Kansas State RD 2. lol

Pulling for Tulane big time. Maybe the pundits will finally shut up about Memphis State.

Ouch. As an alum of both TU and Memphis State that hurts.

I.I., if you have time before the game come by Ed's and I'll buy you a beer and we can discuss. In fact, in anticipation of a TU win today and to celebrate clinching the bye, I'll buy a beer for the first 15 people showing up at Ed's and asking for TigerCane. Our tailgate group will be there around 3:00. We'll have on TU gear. I would love to have a big crowd at this last home game.

Since the weather is good the bikers will likely be out in force so it will probably be crowded.

UConn is the team no one wants to play in the tournament. I would not want to play Memphis just because you never want to play a team for a second time that you UPSET by 40 points. Talk about revenge.

ECU is about the only team I might breath easy about playing. That's how balanced the league is.

Some might say I was two thirds wrong but I say I was one third right and thankfully it was the right third.

One-third would translate to a .333 batting average in baseball, which over a career would qualify you for the Hall of Fame.

I hate both of them in all sports. Big conundrum. Maybe they can both lose.
