ITS GAMEDAY!!!!!!!

Tulsa travels to Little rock to play their first game away from the Reynolds Center. Yooler has 264 KenPom and is 1-4 on the season so far. It is vital that TU gets this win as they are higher on the KenPom and have a better record, of course to lesser talent, but it is on the road. Road wins are needed to make teams great.

Todays Games

Nice little slate of games today. Jackson State travels to DC to take on Georgetown. Incarnate word and UTSA take on each other in the last meeting of the Cardinal/Roadrunner Classic.

East Carolina travels to Fairfax to take on George Mason. While Norfolk State travels to Wichita to take on the Shockers.

The game to watch today at least the first half is the South Carolina State vs Missouri State game. We have already played South Carolina State and Missouri State is coming up in our non-conference slate.

AND ONE

Tulsa starts the day with a 207 KenPom. Using this metric only 4 teams in the non-con have a better rating. Oklahoma St. (Dec 10), Missouri St. (Dec 16), Loyola Chicago (Dec 5) and ORU (Dec 2). These also happen to be our next 4 games after today as well. All of the American teams have a better KenPom than Tulsa except Rice and UTSA.

Bonus: Today is the end of Football season as Tulsa is currently in Greenville, NC to take on the Pirates. I would be there but I have family at the house and I don’t want to hear it from the wife.

GO TU!!!

Jackson state leading Georgetown at the half by 1

Jackson state down by 4 with under 2 min left and they are hurting themselves with these rushed and off kilter shots

Anyone notice that Cooley, the coach from Georgetown, is a large mole on his face away from being Aaron Neville?

Eastern Michigan beat central Arkansas 74-71

UTSA beat incarnate word 90-80

Charlotte over Georgia state 65-57

UAB over furman 92-86

Wichita state over Norfolk state 80-67

Well yesterday sucked. I still want to know 1. Why didn’t we attack the lane as they had 3 of their top payers in foul trouble at the beginning of the second half and 2. Where was Archie in the last part of the second half and during the overtime? That is troubling. If he was injured I hope it isn’t bad.

Todays Games

Today #19 Florida Atlantic faces Virginia Tech in the Championship of the ESPN Events Invitational at Disney World. That was a good field to be in.

SMU hosts Louisiana Monroe New Mexico State travels to Louisville and North Texas hosts Angelo St.

Last game of the day has The Delta devils on their crusade to lose a lot of games and get paid a lot of money to do that by facing Pacific this afternoon.

AND ONE

College football is winding down. TU’s season is over and the portal will start getting busy within the next couple of days. Bowl season is right around the corner and what does that mean for College Basketball? Everything! More focus is going to be turned to college basketball and the unveiling of the NET. The debut of the NET rankings is going to be December 4th.

I'll address Kissinger first. I've seen some pretty harsh criticism of him since the news broke yesterday. Is it his association with Nixon and that whole fiasco that paints what he did in a more negative light than others? We've enabled some pretty horrible atrocities in this world based on "the best interest of the United States...", some worse than what Kissinger had a key role in, but while those individuals got their share of blame, it was mostly a momentary thing whereas the vitriol towards Kissinger has persisted for 50 years.

To the basketball...Dayton is pretty damn good. So is Missouri State. It's hard to gauge Temple right now. They can score for sure but I don't think they can defend all that well in the games I've seen. I think the AAC is going to be a lot better than people initially thought despite the loss of Houston and Cincinnati from the league.

Creighton is going to crush OkState

Losing Houston was a big hit to the conference. Cincinnati, ehhh maybe. They almost got beat by Howard here in DC the other day. Right now only 2 teams are under .500 and that is UTSA and Rice. The OOC records so far look very promising. WSU is at 7-1 right now with some 4-1, 5-1 an 4-2 in the mix. Hopefully we will continue to trend up and the conference can still be competitive despite losing Houston and Cincinnati. Wonder if this will help getting Washington state and Oregon State as they are now the PAC 2

So far, the conference has been worse than I expected overall. Which may be good news for us. But almost certainly looking at only 2 NCAA bids this year.

Not basketball, but an interesting article on Kissinger from Rolling Stone. They don't hold back. I wasn't aware that he essentially played both sides of the aisle. He did some really shady :crap: and certainly didn't care who got hurt or died as a result

Meh I’ll pass reading this article.
As will I…..Rolling Stone 😂😂. Might try the WSJ for those wanting a fairly balanced article by a respected source.

I agree. Expect we have two teams above 60 in the NET when it’s released.
