I'm sorry to hear this. I like the games of interest posts personally and always read them, regardless of whether we suck, and you're one of the reasonable, decent posters, will be a shame not to have you around. I know some have an "aw shucks, boys will be boys, how can you be mad, he's so cute" attitude to some of the true dbags on here but it's unfortunate that they're driving off vastly better posters.

I understand your exhaustion and if you need a break to recharge by all means take it. I, as one of many, enjoy and appreciate your posts and the work that goes into them. I don't post super often, but I always enjoy reading your GOI threads.

The only way to figure it out is to have a differing opinion. I don’t mind doing the work even though sometimes it’s a lot of work but I enjoyed it and learned something. But I’m just exhausted as I said earlier with all of the BS and it’s just a game. I need time away from the BS. I’ll be back but when is a different story.

I will still watch the games and pulling for the kids but I need a break. I just didn’t want you to think that I didn’t appreciate some of you cats on here.

Hey, I totally understand where you’re coming from. Taking a break when things feel overwhelming is sometimes the best thing you can do for yourself. I just wanted to say I’ve really appreciated your posts and the effort you’ve put into sharing your thoughts and research here. It’s clear you’re passionate and care deeply, which is what makes communities like this special.

ctt did what you are doing for a good while each season and it was enjoyable too. But usually when the at-large bid lost all possibility, he stopped I remember. You took over and kept going in the worst of times. I felt it really useful info but understand it wears on everyone to be in this downward spiral in basketball. Some post on your thread just because it is on top . Anyway, whenever you return, I will welcome you. We need some posters that will support the team throughout hard times.

You can have that opinion and very few would disagree with cheering for our team and hating the losing. The rest, not so much so for most. Fans are fans; fanatics tend to take it to another extreme and/or unreasonable level of enthusiasm for the majority. Not that it's right or wrong, but the extremes are where it has potential to cross the line of civility and turn people off. Most of us here identify as fans and appreciate it when someone goes the extra mile to improve our experience on the board, which loca has done. He's for years gone the extra step and compiled and assembled data to improve the overall experience on the board by giving of his time freely and provided us with information in a free forum. I for one, don't have the time or desire to comb through all that stuff and appreciated the contribution. My belief is that he already has pretty thick skin, and knowing that he has children, has the mentioned pair already (two sets would be really awkward, and uncomfortable). If the guy wants some time to regroup and recharge, great! I didn't see his message as dramatic, but a courtesy to all of us that regularly read and appreciate his posts. Just my thoughts, so let the flogging commence...

I just don't like being told how to fan. I've been going to games since I was about 6 and I don't like someone to tell me not to take it seriously. That's the difference here.
