AAC has 3 bids that are almost locked in barring collapses from all 3. I believe the AAC will get a 4th based on either Cincinnati, SMU, or Tulsa being able to win the right games and make a move up. While Temple is near us, I think their schedule will probably offer them a few more losses. I can say our schedule is tough too, BUT there's something I have seen in TU that gives me hope for wins against good teams at home and now, a not previously predicted win on the road (Temple, Wichita State?)

I hate to be a pessimist here but I just don't see this team becoming a legitimate at-large candidate. The OOC schedule was just too damaging. Now winning in Fort Worth may be a possibility.

It could have been an at-large had Haith taken the OOC more seriously, especially games that should be won against UTA and ASU. Honestly, the only OOC game we should have lost was to Arkansas. That is really where a legit at-large berth was lost.

I think if we can finish in the top 4 of the American and win 2 games in the tourney then I believe we can get an At Large Bid. We have a really good conference and outside of the "Major Conferences" we are next in the rankings at number 7. This conference is good and if we can finish in the top 4 I really think we will be looked at. To do that we have to at least split with Wichita State, Memphis and maybe Houston and get those wins on the road and home against the rest of the field. That will push our NET ranking up and make us look better. Getting a couple wins in the tourney even if we don't win it will also push us up there to be considered.

I really think we are better off than they think. I do see us as a 4 bid league.

Road wins are everything for the committee. We have to beat Houston or Wichita State on the road to get much interest. (and finish in the top 4)

While I very much appreciate the intelligent basketball conversation, it is more important to note the FUGLY uniforms USF is wearing tonight. That alone will account for their loss to the Shockers.

I stick with my prior statement that we need a couple more q1 wins including one on the road and no more bad losses to have a chance.

Well if the dude who picks up the chair misses out on the NBA, there’s a future waiting in the WWE.

Were they uglier than the "slime" uniforms they wore against UCF (and only wear against UCF)?

That's De Sousa, the one who adidas paid to go to Kansas, who will end up getting Bill Self fired. Self needs to just remove him from the team. Big XII is likely to come down with some weak a$$ 5 game suspension for him and the KState dude throwing haymakers. And probably 1 game suspensions for every player who left the bench (which was all of them as the game had officially ended). If I am the Big XII, you don't allow cyclical suspensions, make them all serve them on the next game and if the teams don't have enough players, so be it...you forfeit. Will make coaches really emphasize the need to not get caught up in crap like this. WTH is De Sousa thinking anyway? I get the block but going over and standing over a guy laying on the ground to taunt him is garbage. KU fans were like "Why is the KState guard trying to play defense and steal the ball in the last 15 seconds of a blowout anyway?" Because the game is not over that's why. Wouldn't be surprised if Hollywood and Weber get suspended as well.
