A few minutes into the second half, and Temple is playing Wichita State very very tough. Playing very good defense. Likely will not win but it’s fun to watch.

Temple up 8 at the under 4. Temple is doing something I haven’t seen from an Owl team in a while...they’re running and getting out on the break.

2 consecutive turnovers and WSU within 6 with the ball, 2:50 left. Temple is extending their perimeter D and forcing WSU to spend a lot of time a long way from the basket

Temple up 9 with a minute left. WSU’s leading scorer has ZERO points in the game. WSU has commenced the fouling

Gonna be a crazy conference finish. We really need to pick up a second road win in NOLA.
2-3 road wins in conference may get us to 11 wins in conference. 11-7 in the AAC is pretty damn good.

It's sad that the P5 pushers will see Temple's win over Wichita State as a sign that the AAC is down this year...when in fact it should be viewed as a sign of overall strength.

Apparently beating a team by 10+ is just as important than beating them on the road.

Tulsa beats Houston at home by 2, +6 net.
Temple beats Wichita St at home by 12, +17 net.
Tulsa beats ECU by 16 on the road, net +9.

I think it had more to do with Wichita being ranked #10 in the NET. I think Houston was #35 or so when we beat them.

I took all that into consideration. Look at my edited post. I forgot to include the ECU win, and added it.

Yes the team's ranking comes into play, maybe equally, maybe not. Look what the road win did to our net against ECU. there was a more drastic difference between ECU and Houston than between Houston and Wichita St.

The movement or lack of movement focuses more on the other games that were played that day. We keep treating this like a rating and it’s not. If we had beat Houston on the road by 2 we would have shot up a lot farther than we did.
