Economics professor's socialism experiment

One last thing is:

A rising tide lifts all boats - as the pundits say.
Thus, a lowering tide strands all boats.

That was the reason for the experiment. Can there be any other result (decline)? Won't that mediocrity occur every time unless someone in power steps in to force a different (hard work/achievement) result through coersion/intimidation thus taking away our freedoms?

The greatest power in the world is the economic self interest of every butcher, baker and candlestick maker (Adam Smiths "The Wealth of Nations").

Peter Schiff - How an economy grows and why it crashes is a great read on the topic and should be required. He purposely made it into a picture book so even the most novice person can understand it

Socialism:

One group works hard and makes money.
The other groups sits on thier collective butts.

The Government TAKES money from the "workers" and GIVES it to the "deadbeats".

How is that fair?

Why stop with a minimum wage? Let's instutitute a maximum wage.

Nobody is allowed to have Total earning of say $500,000.00 a year.

To be perfecctly FAIR, everyone earns the same; regardless of responsibilities, experience, or effort.

There has been numerous proposals about this for qualified plans...

Maybe BHO can make another edict(ececutive order) and appoint the salary police and they can determine what people should make.
