I don't know, the Big 12's mission through this round after OT/TX left was just live to fight another day, which they did, and they then outlived the Pac12 and got some teams that improve the league (relative to the middle and bottom of their conference). Both of those seemed pretty dang unlikely a year ago. They have to view this as a huge success. Their guy would eat the ACC's lunch if the ACC didn't have the long grant of rights. The big 12 has added castoffs, also rans and G5's... the mediocrity factor has done nothing but grow... the parity in this new league will make it difficult for more than the champion and the runner up to stand out..
