Should get to see him in action tomorrow at 1PM on NFL network.
They had Chris Paul starting at left tackle against the BrownsSteal of the draft despite not being drafted? Anyone know why he wasn't drafted? It's sort of crazy to think that he had one of the better combines for all RBs, had the size, speed, etc. for people to see and no one wanted to take a chance with a late round pick on him? Seems like KC got an absolute steal and Deneric also lands with a team at the top right now and probably not a whole lot of pressure to produce right away and has time to develop in the right system.
It's a TU takeover in the league right now.
BTW, Trevis had 5 tackles, 3 solo, and 1 sack in the Bears preseason game yesterday. My guess is that was in a quarter or half of action.
Part of the answer for Prince is that the NFL has vastly decreased the perceived value of all RBs over the last decade or two. The change of NFL offenses to pass first is the obvious reason. Still, for older fans who remember the glory years for RBs, the degree of the change is surprising.Steal of the draft despite not being drafted? Anyone know why he wasn't drafted? This is weird. Here's my completely unresearched speculation - teams don't invest much in RBs, including scouting them. There were only 18 RBs taken in the draft and 15 were from P5 schools. Only 3 from other schools, and 2 of those were in the 7th round. A P5 RB is a safe pick for a GM, and then you know you can experiment with UFAs. Anyway, that's my $0.02.Steal of the draft despite not being drafted? Anyone know why he wasn't drafted? I watched he didn’t have much luck on his two kickoff returns but I thought he looked good carrying the ball. He needs to be more effective in next exhibition to make the team
He averaged 18 yards per return. Not bad.I watched he didn’t have much luck on his two kickoff returns but I thought he looked good carrying the ball. He needs to be more effective in next exhibition to make the team
Yes, he was. Most of the PT on offense yesterday were 4th and 5th-string RBs and 3rd and 4th-string QBs.He was playing with the second team no?
I would suspect that means he has a leg up to make the roster.
Yes, he had the only return and went for 21 yards. The other kickoff went out of the endzone.Awfully late.
Did he return kicks?
Maybe that's another route to a roster spot but he needs to show more.Yes, he had the only return and went for 21 yards. The other kickoff went out of the endzone.
He can always be cut and put on the practice squad and then possibly picked up from that practice squad. If you get put on the PS then they atleast think you have enough talent to do something in the future or with another team.I’m not liking Prince’s chances of sticking around and making the 53 man roster. He’s been moved to 5th string at RB.

When KC faces Arizona in preseason play, there will be plenty of players to keep an eye on.www.si.com
Yep but it is a big step down in money for the guy!He can always be cut and put on the practice squad and then possibly picked up from that practice squad. If you get put on the PS then they atleast think you have enough talent to do something in the future or with another team.
At least $500,000 assuming he’s on the roster for the full season.Yep but it is a big step down in money for the guy!
He averaged 18 yards per return. In this final preseason game he has had 3 kick off returns in the first half so far and the longest was 22 yards. If he gets on this roster it will be special teams
I still say if he makes the roster it will be special teams
He's not on their cut list yet. I would be surprised if someone else doesn't claim him before he gets back around to the Chiefs. Also cut today was Tyon Davis who was in camp with the Rams and apparently made it to the end of camp. Chris Paul is sticking in Washington. I would assume Trevis and Tyler Smith will survive in Chicago and Dallas respectively. Anyone else in camps that we know of with TU ties? This sucks.
