Bill Snyder has reportedly found the final addition to his coaching staff for the 2018 season.
Kansas State plans to hire Tulsa co-offensive coordinator and associate head coach Brian Norwood as the Wildcats’ secondary coach, per 247Sports’ Ryan Wallace.
Norwood has been at Tulsa since 2015. He previously served on the Baylor coaching staff before joining the Golden Hurricane — the pending hire marking his return to the Big 12.
Norwood was reached by phone, according to the report, but declined to comment on that matter — only stating that he would feel “more comfortable” to discuss his future in the coming days.
2018 will mark the 27th season of Snyder’s storied career as the coach at Kansas State. The Wildcats are coming off an 8-5 campaign in 2017.
