She talks about how the team reached the Conference USA playoffs last year for the first team since 2000, accomplished in part with 11 shutouts during the season, a new team record. The video includes some highlights, including a pair goals scored and they are a treat.
She scored three last year and has two this year, to go with six assists, to put her third on the scoring chart this season with 10 points.
The Hurricane are 8-5-3 overall and 3-3-2 in Conference USA play, going 3-1-1 in the last five games. That includes road wins against Southern Miss a week ago and Marshall on Friday with a scoreless tie against East Carolina on Sunday.
The C-USA playoffs open on Halloween in El Paso, TX, hosted by UTEP but first come three final Conference matches, all at home. Memphis and UAB this weekend before wrapping up with SMU on October 26th. The C-USA standings show Mepmhis sits in fourth currently while SMU holds the sixth spot, one ahead of Tulsa. It's crunch time!
Claire has started 33 of 36 games played at Tulsa leading into this season. She transferred to Tulsa prior to her sophomore season from Missouri State where she started 15 of 18 games played as a freshman.
