call. Cocaine is a sleaze bag.
The three missed free throws are the difference. We make those and we still have a one point lead.
Hate the time out at the end which lets Cincy set up their defense and forces a catch coming back to the ball rather than one headed toward the bucket.
6 turnovers in the last six minutes hurt. Playing not to lose instead of what got us the lead hurt. Choked this one away.

Went up 9 or 11. Stuck at 54 forever. Once we got lead we stopped attacking. Tried to just run clock out and then throw up a late shot each posesssion. Recipe for a loss. Plus late missed free throws.

Funny... just posted same thing. Washington was the X factor tonight. 4 fouls with 4 minutes and Tulsa stops playing. Weird.
Defensively we played well.
We should've attacked Washington instead of running clock.
We're usually nails at the line in the last 4 minutes.

Up the whole game and blow it. Disappointing but I didn't think it'd be close. Still should of won this one and stings all the same

I thought they were crazy going offense/defense with Washington so early but it worked pretty well. He can shoot. Edogi went back to Jackrabbit State mode when he came in. Smh.
We lost it at the line. Missing one of two then the front end of a 1-1 left us down 2 when we should have been up 1 with the ball and 4.4 to go.
Yeah... Taplin just makes the 1 front end and the game is over --- 99% certain. Tulsa would have had a 2 possession game and likely ices it at the foul line from there on out. When Taplin missed that front end I yelled something bad - woke the kids - and yelled "TULSA LOST!"
The end of the game really sucked for us offensively. Last 4 minutes and we looked lost. No movement and we stopped using the high post player to run things through. Clark got away with a foul against Igbanu the last turnover. Can't go through a player to do that.
Pluses- our half court defense was tremendous tonight and Cincinnati had to settle for a lot of rushed shots late in the shot clock. We rebounded exceptionally well on the defensive end.
We still haven't seen what this team is fully capable of yet.
P.S. I'm in favor of Taplin pulling up for 3 at the end. Caupain would have fouled him from behind if he pulls up there.

TK gets a T for something pretty weak (just watched the replay) and Cronin walks into the court and starts screaming and stomping like the Oompa Loompa he is...I could hear him from Sec. 118. Nothing from the ref.
Cincy gets away with a lot of crap. Washington gets away with the shoulder plow almost every time. Yet you stand up to him and they call you for a foul. Clark gets away with a lot of bumps, reaches, and inside grabs (sort of soccer-like). Etou had his arm pinned by Clark in the offensive rebound Washington took away and scored in late. Lots of little things that add up. We still have to finish games against teams like this better than that though.
Taplin needs to shoot more threes.
He's a good enough 3pt guy that he can dictate what he wants to do and when he gets comfortable out there.
Last 4 minutes Haith got completely out coached. Birt, who had a terrible game with more TO's than points and was lost a lot on defense was in the game and he was in the game. You blow a 9 point lead on your home court with arguably the best crowd of the season and you lay an egg. Edogi and Igbanu stepped up big tonight especially on the defensive side of the court. Was the best game of the season for both those young men. But what it came down to was TO's and missed free throws at the end in the last few minutes. The tall white guy ref should be banished from the game forever...
