Funny that the Bearcats are getting all they can handle in Greenville after their fans were so aghast that our game was close.

They just said Whisenant hasn't scored a point and he couldn't miss against us.

As much as I don't like Cincy fans we don't need them to be ECU's second conference win.

Mixed feelings. Not sure is this is good for conference ncaa prospects. But helps us solidify our top spot.

ECU is going to win. Up by 4 win 9 sec left.

Remember when jackass Cinci fans said Tulsa's close game to ECU was a symptom of our poser status? We replied that ECU was playing solid and a w was a w?

ECU wins.

QED

Lolololololololololololol

But hey, Cinci has had a harder schedule than us. I doubt we win at ECU either. I was out of country. We haven't played at ECU, right?

It was sarcasm. I watched TU-ECU on followESPN in baggage claim at San Juan airport.

You gotta leave those types of bait posts for people who will bite.

Anyway, lolololololol

AAC now a two team race. ECU makes teams play ugly. Lebo is a good coach and does some good things with limited talent and depth. Hey Cincinnati fans- SCOREBOARD!!! Tulsa 9-0 AAC

Needless to say, this post is an instant entrant into the "we own you dumbasses hall of fame."

Wasn't our game at ECU pretty much the same - we opened a big lead and they had a huge comeback down the stretch. Except we were good enough to win and Cinci of course wasn't?

C'mon, brau. We haven't played them yet. You can't say scoreboard. You're better than that.

I had the same thought, but y'know, if they are going to be jackholes, who cares? It's like if Rice or ECU or UTEP under Mike Price lost in football in C-USA. Nuke 'em.

Gold, you're roght, we haven't played them. I should have yelled "STANDINGS!!!" TU really needs to not look past Houston at SMU. Houston is not very good right now but they jack a lot of 3s which has been our Achilles. They've shot a bunch of them already against UCONN and have hit 3 but they've missed like 6 others...meaning they'll likely shoot 60% against us because that seems to be the way things are happening right now

I'm always roght.

Wow, ECU 39.6% from the field, 4-19 from 3, and 66.7% from the stripe and STILL beat Cincy.

Not good for the conference, but it does explain our game in Greenville and most of the internet Cincy fans are jerks who still don't think Tulsa should be in the AAC, so I'll take it.

I hate the fact you can't edit posts in the mobile site.

There is also something to be said for everyone else in the AAC having is in their sights. We get everyone's best effort every game and we still have been able to persevere. One of these days we'll be able to put a full 40 minutes together.

I like to see separation at the top of the standings. If this was down to the last game of the season and you saw this result we would be thrilled. We will look back on these kind of losses as crucial in determining the league champion. We need to avoid one just like this on Thursday. Ripe for a let down.

Rooting for Cincy to rebound on Thursday and take out SMU. I would love to have a 2 game lead going into the SMU game at home and coming out of it with a 3 game lead over both Cincy and SMU.

Houston now leading UConn. Don't tell me both are going down today.....

Uconn does not look good right now. Boatright can't buy a basket. Houston shoots more threes then I've ever seen. They also haven't turned the ball over one time.

Dug this up from the AAC boards... after we snuck put of ecu with the win Cinci fans started piling on ECU. One cinci fan posted to ECU fans:

Your program is a dumpster fire. Again. If that makes you sensitive, find a new team to root for.

Fact is, a few teams at the bottom of this conference drag down the teams that are trying to do what they are supposed to.

Cincy is just 2 - 4 on the road this year and 1 - 1 on neutral sites, beating Middle Tennessee, NC State and Central Florida. They are great at home (12-1) but struggle on the road. I am glad we got them at home this year!

Good post Ozark

I recall commenting that beating ECU on the road when the Pirates hit 12 threes was an incredible feat.

Kids found a way to win. Much like the South Fla. game.

GO TU!!!!

The bottom teams in our conference have improved during conference play.

The USF guards are talented but lack disciple. Some of the shots they threw up Saturday
scared0011.r191677.gif
and they still went in........on the other hand though, their dribble drives were breaking down our guards and getting them into the lane for those teardrop shots. They had our # with those.

Any wins a good win!!!

A friend pointed out to me after the game that USF has been recruiting against the Big East powers Cincy, Louisville, UCONN, etc. for sometime. No surprise they have really good guards.

GO TU!!!!
