2021 Houston North Shore QB prospect Dematrius Davis Jr. recently visited TU for Junior Day.
He already holds offers from Florida State and Nebraska.
Which got me thinking. We’ve had plenty of top recruits at QB come through as possible transfers - Mitch Mustain, Jevan Snead, GJ Kinne, Gary Brashears, Cody Green, etc.
But when was the last time we had a QB with 20+ P5 offers visit as a high school prospect? not counting any prospect that lived within 100 miles of Tulsa.
There was Beaver, but nobody wanted him except Michigan.
I bring that up for two reasons. First, I’m legit curious of the answer, if any.
Second, I’m at the front of the line criticizing this staff, but just getting a kid like that to come up and drink a Coke and listen is a coup. It does deserve recognition.
