Anybody going to Dallas?

I'll be there.

Two years ago we had the infamous excessive celebration penalty.

National media made a big deal about how bad Tulsa got screwed.

Has there been another "EC" called since that time?

Asshat SMU fan sat behind us late in the game and was completely obnoxious and this was a middle aged grownass man. No class.

GO TU!!!!

I swear those same fans sat behind me the other day at the TU/SMU soccer game in Tulsa. I was getting ready to throw down with a couple of them who took exception to the fact that I said one of their players was soft for going down so easily.

On the Hobbs' excessive celebration penalty...quite honestly one of the worst calls I have ever seen. He did what, 1/4 of a high step before regaining composure and just running into the end zone?

One of three different times we were screwed out of a victory by AAC officials.
I go to my grave believing that was called only because of two things: 1) the manner in which we handled complaining about the first two - T-shirt’s, press conference, Twitter snark. 2) Hobbs and others were running their mouths and generally doing a variety of undisciplined stunts that the coaches should have shut down a lot earlier. I took the call as less a flag against Hobbs as I did a flag against the Tulsa coaches for generally not controlling outbursts after plays and on the sideline.

That game is one of three college football games that I can say was outright fixed. OU Texas in 84 and OU at Oregon in 2006. People make a big deal about that onside kick but OU got screwed repeatedly, especially on spots, throughout the game.

Don’t forget this robbery on the goal line ... though we would still have needed the 2 point. It was darn close but I still thing the nose of the ball was over.

I still have the picture on my phone where the Navy defender is tackling our receiver who was behind him in the EZ and the ball is 2 yards away. The ball hit defender in the back and bounced into the air for an interception. Cost us 6!

Yeah, there's less of an argument on this one...don't turn the ball over 3X in the 1st half and don't let the QB run straight up the middle untouched for a TD and then maybe we can complain about not getting a spot or two in that one. We played like complete crap. I remember turning the game off after the Gilbert TD run absolutely disgusted that we had a chance to be 10-2 in the regular season with a chance at 12 wins overall and came out with that effort.
