Has anyone heard of these houses ? Would assume they are not very well built but wanted everyone’s opinion on them. Looks like they range anywhere from $15000 to $25000. Lawpoke ?

Buyer beware on these. What’s the old saying…if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is. Housing costs what it costs plus a 15-20% margin. There are decent shipping containing homes out there but they are going to be north of $50k. There is no guarantee what you see pictured is what you’re purchasing. I don’t see anyway that 40’ house shown in those images can be built for anywhere close to $22k much less sold for that price.

That’s what I was thinking , it looks like you literally pull them out like a puzzle when you get them , have no interest in getting one , just got me curious seeing them

Might be something to put on some land as hunting housing, weekend place or mother in law housing :). They have no heat or a/c and no insulation outside of the panels.

Giant window toaster for climate control. Like my old detached garage office.

Oh ya , can you imagine the electric bill if you put a mini split in that ?

The 40 ft is less than $26 per sq ft. That's a ridiculously low amount of money. Basic bare bones Barndominiums cost 4x that amount and bare bones storage unit houses cost about 4-6x that. I realize Amazon might find a way to cut costs, but not by that much. If they cut the square foot down $66 or even more realistically $80 a sq ft, I would be less skeptical, but that's just too low for it to be a cool looking, functional, & efficient house.
