I spoke with the father in law of a professor at App St. In the discussion he said his son in law told him that they were allowing students to withdraw from a class “after the final grade was issued”! Is this normal in today’s university setting? When I was in school, way too long ago, it had to be done within the first 2-3 weeks of the start of the semester. In addition to creating a false GPA (IMO) it could be manipulated for maintaining athletic eligibility. Thoughts?
