AAC just tweeted out the seedlings 1-12 if it ended today. We are the only team in the top 10 who cannot move up or down based on tomorrow’s results. I hope everything goes to form and holds as is. Looking at the top half of the bracket, it is very favorable for us. In the quarters we would get either USF or a depleted Memphis. Cincy would get UCONN (talented by coach deficient) or SMU (does Shake come back?). Cincy as top seed could have a more difficult game then we would. The bottom half is stacked with WSU,Houston, UCF, and Temple. UCF has shown a capability of getting hot from deep and Temple has shown an ability to literally play and beat some of the best teams in the country. They are such an enigma.

Let's beat Temple tomorrow...

That said... Tulsa winning 3 in a row and getting to the Championship game (IMO and reading tea leaves) would have a much better resume than many currently so-called bubble teams --- and decidedly better (imo) than the 2016 team.

Just sayin'

I’m still puzzled as to how anyone thinks OU is an NCAA tournament team. They’ve got one really good player who has hit the wall. Some people keep touting OSU. They’ve beaten all the really good teams in the Big XII and is and have a bunch a really crappy losses. There’s a ton of bubble teams that make you go “what?”

OSU’s worst loss is either OU or Kansas St. Not sure what crappy losses you’re thinking of.

That being said, they’ll have to do something in the Big 12 Conference to make the tournament, their non-conference schedule was far too weak.

Wichita State is the happiest team in the tournament finally knowing they are in without having to win the tournament as in the Missouri Valley.

OSU is the poster child for why you don’t schedule really crappy low major programs. They’ve beaten KU twice, WVA in the road, and Tech and haven’t lost to a team who isn’t projected to be in the NCAA field. Yet....they need to beat OU and maybe KU for the third time to get into the field because they played four or five plus 300 rpi teams.

I wonder if Phog acknowledges how good some of the Mo Valley programs really were/are in basketball. Creighton is very competitive in the Big East beat #1 Villanova at home earlier this year. Wichita St can compete with anyone. LOL.

GO TU!!!!

I’d take both Wichita State and Cincinnati to beat KU. KU is probably the softest I’ve ever seen a Bill Self team. They lack physical toughness. They are very talented but seem to struggle in physical games (like OSU) that are a grind.
