This may be the year we finally put to rest the conjecture that an attractive home schedule is the only cure to our attendance problem. We have six home opponents and all six have been ranked at one point in the last three years. Many are regional opponents that casual fans can recognize as attractive entertainment possibilities. There’s a chance 4 of the 6 will be ranked when they visit Skelly. Stealing an early upset win could generate buzz and increase in the gate.
Easily the most difficult schedule since BB’s murderer’s row. At first glance, there’s two games on here where we could be considered favorites and those are both on the road. But also nine games where we have a great chance of winning. There is a tremendous opportunity here if the team and staff seize it.
