Why does no information appear regarding season tickets?

Those in the Platinum section sure pay a lot to quietly sit on their ass every game.
Seems weird.

it makes no sense to pay that much for those seats and not keep your ass in them as much as possible...

But they are rapidly outpricing me for the quality of the non con games...

Jesus. Only in Tulsa is 45 bucks a game considered a lot of money. Did you spend to much at the casinos or on your meth last week? Why are you being a jackass?

Yes, $200 per game for a family of 4 is pricey for many. Before you even buy anyone a hot dog or coke. Jesus.

I won't spend that much on a ticket to see UH unless they are playing Tulsa or a major opponent either, and that's a one off deal. And there's only 2 of us.

Astros and Dynamo tickets are less than that.

If you don't want to get called out for being lame, don't be lame.

I'm not spending $5 to go to a live game and sit on my ass not cheering or clapping.
Hell, I've gone to many sporting events for free and still stand and cheer.

We're fans... that's what we do...

Unless your a lame ass crybaby then you sit quietly in your and complain at the fans around you for standing or being too loud.
If you're going to that, spend more than $45 a game and get yourself a nice quiet suite or stay the hell home.

Demon is a stand up guy. Not a jackass.

That being said, I sit in those areas and no one yells sit down at me. True it is an older area, but, We sit around a group of Tulsa letterman when it comes to Football and it's a great area for children.

As far as cost of tickets, it is outrageous to pay as much as we do for season tickets when half the stadium sits empty...

LOL, thanks Noble.

There are some that stand and cheer but most don't until it's a big play late the game and they seem to stand just because they can't tell dozens to sit.

I don't mind the price... we just need to get ranked to get people there and we need to win the big games we have at home although I still can't believe the total lack of love from the city after the ND win :(

Same goes for bball but it's hard to argue with attendance this year over there but single game BB tickets and additional charges for both sports single game tickets are just dumb.

$13 for the end zone and you guys are complaining about pricing? Movie tickets are more expensive. Look at the price of Drillers tickets, the Ballet, the Opera, or even many local high school games. I haven't been to a Union game in years, but a ticket to a high school game is $10 to $15 here in North Florida. Look at the price of individual tickets for other teams in our conference. Some of you pay $120 a year for access to this board, but you don't have $150 to buy end zone season tickets? Sounds to me like the trouble is nobody wants to sit next to you for four hours because you complain too much about everything ...

There is absolutely no reason what so ever to embarrass yourself (and the rest of us by association) in a thread started by a University employee complaining about pricing.

Now, if you wanted to make the suggestion that individual seat pricing could be graduated based on the opponent, like many programs do, then that is an opinion, not a complaint.

FWIW, Tulsa should stop scheduling games at big time programs where our tickets are discounted. Ohio State charging their people $70 to see us and $80 to see Rutgers is an insult and discounts are program. Charging $140 for Nebraska and $70 for us when it is going to sell out no matter what makes no sense whatsoever. I don't have a problem going on the road to play in places like Norman and Stillwater, even if we know we are going to get beat by 50. Don't insult our program before we even get to the stadium.

Loyal ticket holders in this thread aren't the issue. Diehards are going to pay. There's just not many.

When we're averaging what we do in attendance, it's not outside the realm of possibility that perhaps your walk-up pricing is contributing to the problem.

End zone seats are $20 day of game. Season ticket packages are completely irrelevant for casual fans or new potential fans.

I don't understand increasing walk-up prices or failing to accept credit cards. Swipes are fast and can be done on an I Pad.
I've long thought that TU must price the best seats in a manner to fill them. It looks ridiculous to have empty seats on the 50 and nearly-full sections on the 35. And the East seats that face the sun should be half the cost of the West seats.
There is a lot I would change.

FSU recently built a "Champions Club", which is the equivalent of our loge seating, but with leather "captain's chairs" with your name plate on it and significantly better food and amenities than what TU offers (though FSU is a cash bar). The club seating circles through the South Endzone behind the band. They sell the seats at $1250 membership fee, then $2150 a year and they can't understand why nobody has bought the seats in the southeast end zone where the seats are exposed to the sun. (The southwest corner in the shade sold out in days). Now they are stuck with a huge gap of empty seats on national tv and cannot claim a sell out, nor can they reduce the price without pissing off the people that bought the good seats first. TU isn't the only one that struggles with ticketing, the sun, and pricing. Even the big boys have trouble too.

Everyone gripes about people not standing, what about people like me? Since my bout with Guillain-Barre I can walk fine with a cane, don't use a wheelchair and therefore don't need the ADA seats, but since I have neuropathy I can't stand for prolonged periods. If someone gets a seat in front of me and stands the whole game I've just been cheated out of seeing the game. I will stand with a crowd to cheer a big play but then I expect to be able to sit and watch the rest of the game. It doesn't take major illness to make standing an issue, bad backs and joint issues are common.

Wow.. in no world I know would Nebraska football be equated with Tulsa football in crowd interest value... ..

I pay more for high school season tickets than i do for the family fun zone, and the high school plays 1 fewer game.

I don't stand the entire game and lean on my seatback when everyone is standing for a while since I'm tall and some can't see over me.

But, when it's a 4th and short, late in a tight game, we're on defense, and needing a stop to seal the win, people should not have an expectation that people will be seated.

Do the Westsiders get a box of tissues with their tickets?

Come on over to the east side where everything goes and is welcome! However, if you have a flask there is a liquor Nazi on the west side that uses binoculars to watch the crowd on the east side for any violators.... No it wasn't me it was a guy a few rows away on the other side of the aisle.

That stinks. One of my fondest memories of TU is walking into the stadium after dinner on Friday and duct taping a couple of pint bottles of Beam underneath the bleacher where we always sat for use the next day.

Just got to get a little sneakier and pay your fee to the TU athletics soda fund. Buy a large soda, pour it out, then find some out of sight place in the stadium and transfer.

Well no wonder WD is getting yelled at to sit down. Blocking the view of liquor nazis not even watching the game.

I like the new plastic flasks that can get past the metal detectors...
