Tulsa's running game should be incredible next year considering it never seriously considered Josh Jacobs. OU coach Bob Stoops obviously doesn't understand this strategy.

Stoops and offensive coordinator Lincoln Riley were in Tulsa Monday during school hours at McLain to offer Josh Jacobs a scholarship.

Jacobs, the leading rusher in Oklahoma high school football in 2015, has a previous long-standing offer from Wyoming, who has heavily recruited Jacobs for months.

Big schools are starting to jump on the bandwagon. Missouri is planning on sending someone to McLain soon. Other SEC teams are showing interest.

Among noteworthy games Jacobs had as a senior for McLain was rushing for over 400 yards at perennial high school power Cascia Hall.
