Of course he will get another win. That isn't really a good question. Will Haith win 10% of the remaining games might have been better.

If things continue like that have previously, then he might not get the opportunity.

If he finishes the year, my initial estimate has dropped considerably from then. I now think 2-5 wins. I'm guessing 3 is where I'd lay my money 💰 down, if I were to bet on it.

He needs to play USF twice a week till seasons end.

I always want TU to win. Unfortunately what I saw against Tulane suggests we may not win again, even against USF. Team looked completely out of it after 5 minutes. Sometimes when things get this bad it takes on a life of its’ own with players developing self-doubts, then starting to doubt their teammates and coaches. Once it occurs it just continues a downward spiral. Unfortunately I have seen it with teams in all sports.

I had always felt this way but last night a switch kind of flipped somehow.

Feeling optomistic today. lol. I believe we will win 2 more games. Saturday against USF and then at ECU because I will be in attendance. The rest do not make me feel confident after that drubbing on Wednesday.

The game tomorrow night will be telling. If we don't win that one, then another victory seems unlikely.

So that's how it is now. Thinking we'll go 2-9 makes you an optimist. Lovely.
This year it is. We can’t find a way to finish in the last two minutes. When you think they have then Memphis happens. Then right afterwards you get pounded over 30 by the wave. The two are just a pride thing.

what I would love to see is for them to continue their trajectory and then just come out like gang busters in the tournament.

that would just blow peoples mind.

We win by more than 10 tomorrow night.

We should win 3 conference games. (Not because we are good but just because some teams will just have terrible games against us or missing some players.)
You underestimate the power of the disappointment. This team will not fight… so it will meet its destiny. - Coach D. Vader.

Yeah, it's really not easy to get shut out in the conference. It's only happened once in the 8 years the AAC has been around. And only 2 teams in 8 years have finished with fewer than 2 wins. Even for truly terrible teams, the stars really have to align to lose every conference game. Our talent isn't very good but it's not THAT bad.

You still have to account for the fact that he could be let go early. (Obviously not a guarantee… but a distinct possibility if he loses more against bad teams)

Our talent is not that bad, but our team is.
Thanks Frank.

I can guarantee the Frank will be the coach through the end of the year.
I honestly don't understand this. We're going to pay him one way or another. By all accounts he doesn't have a buyout clause. We would do better to just allow Shea or Kwanza to coach.

It’s simple. We just don’t let coaches go in the middle of the season.

Jim Platt is the only Division 1 coach on the staff. If anything drastic happens, I expect Rick will put him in charge. You don't want to punish Shea or Kwanza like we did Pooh.

So, policy rather than logic. Got it.
What logic does it make to fire him tonight? Is that somehow going to turn us into Kentucky, Duke or Kansas? Don’t just throw logic around as firing a coach mid season for all intents and purposes is not logical.
