How do we convince the various AAC E-Sports clubs that they need to set up an online tournament between the actual players from various schools, with commentary/banter? I think people would find it amusing, particularly with the players bantering among themselves.

All we need is 5 Nintenstationboxes and whatever the popular basketball game is. I'm assuming there's an online multiplayer basketball game? If they can't get the actual players to participate, then E-sports clubs vs each other (in basketball). But the interest level wouldn't be the same, again, I think hearing "our" players banter would be the fun part.

Covid19 is no fun, but we could make the best of a bad situation and draw a few chuckles from the would-be crowds. If nothing else, it's something for the various sports social media accounts to post about for the time being. (I'm not envisioning the AAC or University taking this too seriously. I get that the esports people have serious competitions, but in my head this would be firmly tongue in cheek. I also have no idea what NCAA/league rules might come into play? Just spit balling an idea that I thought could be fun)

TU has a new eSports program and just opened up an eSports station in the old fishbowl (but not really the fishbowl) in Twin between the dining facility and the Housing Office. It's pretty flipping sweet.
